Experience: Our instructor is a both a qualified bushcraft instructor and an experienced wildlife biologist, with a PhD and a BSc in Ecology.

Ecological Approach: Our teaching is based on a sound ecological understanding and we operate using an environmentally responsible approach.

Location: We have a beautiful rural location for our main courses at Tulleys Farm. It is an ancient woodland with a wide range of interesting wildlife. The site is accessible by car from surrounding towns of Crawley, Haywards Heath and East Grinstead. It is also only a short journey from London, the south coast and Gatwick Airport. We also run a course in a spectacular wilderness area in the north-west of Scotland.

Courses for you: We run courses to suit a range of different ages, groups and abilities. For example, we are running courses for schools, families, corporate teams, outdoor education organisations and teenagers with difficult backgrounds. We offer a flexible approach and are always open to requests for customised courses with respect to content and dates.

Attitude: Our teaching style is relaxed and down to earth with an emphasis on the practical while enjoying the woodland experience. Undoubtedly there are some good military style survival schools but our chosen approach is more informal and person-centered.
