Survival Day

Duration: 1 full day: starts 09.00 and ends 17:00

Age: 16+

Course content: knife use, friction firelighting, natural shelters, game preparation

Learn some key survival skills in a day.

The course covers knife use, fire by friction (with bow drill), shelter building (such as leaf huts or improvised natural shelters), and game preparation (this could be fish, rabbits or pigeons depending on availability) and cooking on the fire. Some game will be available but you may wish to bring a packed lunch to supplement this.
