Coastal food is not just for survival, it can also make up a tasty, sustainable and nutritious supplement to our daily diet. This course teaches about examples of edible foods on the British shoreline.

We will forage for a range of edible shellfish, sea weed and coastal plants in a beautiful West Coast sea loch in Moidart, Lochaber. You will gain practical know-how about where to find different species, safe foraging and legal issues. You will then light a fire and cook what we collect - looking at safe and effective cooking techniques.
